UPDATE:
This car has been repainted and a new bumper and rocker
panel chrome has been installed. 1970 Buick Skylark GS
455. This automobile is one of the, if not the most unappreciated
muscle cars of its era. It is an original GS, but not
a Stage 1 GS 455. I have the original sales papers on
this car including, the Protecto Plate, Bill of Sale,
Owners Manuel, Code Sheet, and the Promotion Paper from
when the original owner was promoted in the military to
buy this car. This car is triple black and always has
been according to the original bill of sale, but it has
been repainted its original color. The engine and transmission
are original along with the rims, and three of the four
head lamps. The car has bee n an Alabama car its entire
existence. It has 63,500 miles on the Odometer. There
is a bench seat in the front with a flip down arm rest.
The only modification(s) on this car is that hit has an
aftermarket GSX spoiler. To my knowledge that is the only
thing not original. The problems and/or malfunctions on
this car are that there is a 3 to 4 inch fray in the driver
seat was the stitching has came loss, THIS IS NOT A RIP.
The cluster in the dash that shows the temperature and
fuel gauge does not work, but the dummy light work. The
Speedometer and Odometer both work.
