@ sale ) with 12K miles. Front Disc Brakes, Electronic
Ingnition --- This is a touring car! Orignally found in
Virginia Beach area, the car was transported to NE Ohio
where an 18 month rotissorie restoration process was performed
between 2004 - 2006. Every panel, nut, bolt, and screw
was scrutinized and replaced as necessary to return this
vehicle to it's former glory. The car was finished and
entered in the 2006 Cleveland Autorama, 2nd place, and
7 days later the family drove it to ST. Petersburg, Orlando
and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for spring break vacation.
The decision was made that week to MOVE to Florida. The
vehicle was driven back to Ohio to wait until housing
and garage arrangements were made. 1-year later the car
was driven to Boca Raton, Fl where it now resides. The
decision to install 440 6-pak / automatic combination
was made so that all of the family could enjoy this cruiser.
It was also decided to install front disc brakes, electronic
ignition and electronic voltage regulator for safety and
reliability reasons. All of the parts are factory OEM
materials found in later model MOPAR automobiles. ALL
of the original parts as per the build sheet were retained.
This vehicle also has a 2nd interior, a year correct 383
engine, drum brake assemblies, a 4 speed transmission,
and the point-type distributor in addition to the finished
vehicle. As you can see from the pictures, a white interior
was installed for a the 1st few years, but now that the
car is being prepared for sale, the black interior has
been installed as per the build sheet. Prior to re-installing
the 383 - 4speed combination, I am offering this vehicle
in the current configuration whereas it is very enjoyable
to drive. The 440 makes 500hp, get's 12.5 miles / gallon
and stands up when you step on it! The car drives beautifully.
The engine accelerates aggressively and the transmission
shifts smoothly through the gears. The car stops in a
straight line even under heavy braking. There is no smoke
or unusual sounds from the engine, and the car is rattle
free. The original AM radio is installed but not working.
The convertible tops works and does not leak. The material
is vinyl and has a few wrinkles from non-use. Whereas
I professionally restore automobiles, http://www.moparresto.com,
I know everything about this vehicle and was directly
involved in every aspect of the restoration. I have included
the build sheet in the photos and the decoded results.
Offered for $65,000.00.
