MECHANICAL: 1965 Fastback Mustang converted to a 289 from
a code T, rebuilt motor with a mild RV camshaft, 2 barrel
carburetion, new dual aluminized exhaust with cross-over,
rebuilt transmission, original dual caliper disc brakes,
brake booster with dual reservoir master cylinder, rebuilt
suspension with heavy duty 1 inch front sway bar. The
power steering, cooling system, fuel system were rebuilt
or replaced. Less than 125 miles on the mechanical rebuilding.
EXTERIOR: The Mustang body was stripped of paint and disassembled.
Repairs were performed. A fresh PPG candy apple red basecoat/clearcoat
paint was applied. The body was then colorsanded and polished.
All chrome, stainless and emblems parts were either replaced
with quality parts or polished. The windshield was replaced.
Sound deadener was used when the new carpet, the doors
were stripped of paint to retain the original texture
and painted, all window regulators were replaced and serviced,
all felts and weather-stripping was also replaced. The
styled wheels are original and the spare tire is also
mounted on the fifth style wheel.
INTERIOR: The original black interior was replaced with
a two tone red and white using TMI upholstery, sports
seats were used for added comfort. Kick panels with built
in speaker pods were used to accommodate the 6 inch speakers,
CAS radio.
