| 1965
Plymouth Fury III Convertible. White exterior
with Black vinyl interior. The general condition
is excellent --- still all original, 1 of
5,524 produced. Professionally re-built
original 318 Poly engine with 727 automatic
transmission --- less than 500 miles, 135K
original miles. Engine and engine compartment
are clean --- all hoses are new. The exterior
is in excellent condition, and has been
professionally re-painted --- no rust, no
dents, left door mirror is missing. The
interior is original and in good condition.
Dash is 'like new' --- all gauges are operational
and intact, speedometer has been re-built.
Convertible top is also in very good condition.
Extra rear view mirror is missing. The upholstery
has a tear in the front drivers seat, door
panels are in fair condition. The trunk
in in excellent condition --- no rust, new
plugs. Spare, jack and tools are available.
The entire car is rust-free --- original
California car. Has been in Arizona for
40 years, and garaged. This car has always
been maintained and has service records.
All external engine were replaced whent
he engine was re-built. Transmission was
also re-built when motor was re-built. Front
suspension and seals have all been replaced.
The undercarriage is clean --- no rust.
New dual exhaust. Floor boards have no rust.
All shocks and springs are new. Tires are
new, has original spinner hubcabs, which
are in 'like new' condition. The AC is in
good condition --- it works, but needs vaccum
switch. Brake pads and drums have all been
replaced. Front defrost, new fuel sending
unit. Heater and fan work well. Motor idles
smoothly --- new motor and all exterior
parts. Original AM radio still works great!
All turn signals are operative and intact.
All glass is in perfect condition --- no
chips or cracks, has original windshield
--- all window seals need to be replaced.
Could use a new carpet kit. Gas tank cleaned
and lined, Original manuals are available.
This is one of 5,524 built. The production
number is 462. This is truly an original
car, that has not been in anyway modified
or molested. Offered for $29,900.00. |
