1956 Mercury Monterey 4-Door Hard Top. Yellow/Cream
exterior. This model features a 312 ci V8
engine with automatic transmission with
85K miles. The body is in great condition
--- very little body rust on rear bumper.
Paint is likewise is very good condition
--- no dents, antenna is broken. Dash is
in good condition, most gauges in main dash
work, e.g., speedometer, fuel and voltmeter
--- temperature and oil pressure gauges
are mounted under the dash. New headliner,
all mirrors are intact. Rugs and mats are
new, new seat and trunk upholstery. Tire
cover over spare, no holes in trunk. Dual
exhaust, pipes are extended to the bumper,
floor boards are intact. Shocks are in good
condition. Coker tires, 1-1/4" wide
Whitewalls are new, only 300-400 miles.
Factory AC, power brakes, front defrost,
turn signals and front/rear lights work.
Heater/heater fan work. Good idle. Original
AM radio, missing antenna. Original owners
manuals are available. This car drives nice,
the matching fender skirts are in the trunk.
I have a 3-ring binder with pictures of
car, the original owners manual and shop
repair receipts. One of the receipts show
that a new short block was installed at
40K miles. I have driven this car approximately
1K miles to auto events mainly around Phoenix,
and to take my wife out to dinner. The next
thing I was going to do was have the bumpers
re-chromed. The tires are new from Coker
and I have the new rubber bumpers for under
the hood. Offered for $21,900.00. |
