Vehicle Description
Up for sale is one of the nicest 1955 Chevy's you will find! The car is immaculate and well sorted out. Here is a list of some of the vehicle highlights: Art Morrison GT-Sport Aftermarket Chassis, GM 6.2L LS3 Engine, GM 4L60E Transmission, Custom ceramic-coated long tube headers, Vintage Air Gen IV Heating & A/C, Fikse Profil 5 19" Forged Wheels, Custom interior and trunk, Power front and rear windows operated by factory levers, Retrosound Radio with custom subwoofer, amp, and speakers with custom kick panels, Factory-style bench seating for the perfect nostalgic look, All new smoked glass, Wilwood Polished 4-wheel disc brakes, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, Stainless steel fuel tank, New battery installed in trunk, Polished engine compartment including front drive accessories, billet aluminum valve covers, air filter assembly, radiator, and support, Custom orange metallic paint with white pearl, All new exterior trim, All new interior trim by Pete's Fabrications, and Eddie Motorsports billet hood hinges. I cannot describe how well this car drives! The Art Morrison chassis is a work of art. It truly drives and handles like a new car. You can comfortably cruise down the road at 70 MPH without the feel of an old car. The steering is responsive, and the ride is amazing! With power rack and pinion steering, you can turn the steering wheel with one finger. This car was built to enjoy with no expense spared. It did win a Goodguy's award at the 2013 Fall Lone Star Nationals in Ft. Worth. The car gets lots of attention wherever it goes! The paint and body work is laser straight and looks amazing, even under fluorescent lights. I have put over 300 miles on the car since I purchased it last year. When I am not enjoying the car, it sits in my garage with a car cover over it. It does excellent both on the road and sitting at a show. It would be the perfect car for the Hot Rod Power Tour, if you were so inclined! It's a very comfortable and fun car to drive. The car has the perfect stance on the Art Morrison chassis, and it drives as good as it looks! You can't take the car anywhere that you don't get lots of honks, thumbs up, and comments. It's ready to go for the spring and summer shows and cruise-ins. Save yourself the agony of a classic car auction, and buy with confidence! Too much junk disguised as nice is pushed through the classic car auctions, and you never know what you will end up with once you get it home. This is among the nicest 1955 Chevy Bel Airs in the country, and everything is properly sorted out. I am not in a bind to sell the car. I just need to get rid of one of my toys. I have the clear title in hand. The car is available for inspection in Georgetown, Texas prior to purchase, and funds must clear my bank account before I hand over the keys. I will accept a cashier's check and wire transfer, but, again, the funds must be in my account before I release the car. I will be glad to take any additional pictures upon request. I can also help you arrange shipping for the car, but it will be the responsibility of the buyer to pay for the shipping. You won't find a nicer car that is ready to drive, and you certainly cannot build one on an Art Morrison chassis for what I'm selling this car for! I'm taking a loss on the car at the price listed. My loss is your gain! Additional pictures and videos are available upon request. All bugs are worked out, and it is ready to enjoy! Offered for $91,500.00.
