Vehicle Description
1948 Ford Deluxe Woody Wagon. Ann Margaret!!! It is documented that my car is in the 1983 movie" Who will Love My Children". The previous owner was present at the filming of the movie. It is just behind Ann Margaret in an important (and very emotional) scene where she is boarding the bus near the end of the movie. My car was previously from La Jolla, CA and found her new home in Sacramento in 1980, where she found a very caring owner. She had a ground up restoration in the early 80's. This 1948 Ford 4 Door Super Deluxe Sedan Station Wagon "Woodie" is original with a 239 Flathead V8 - 100HP, 3 speed transmission. Runs Great! The steel wheels, wheel rings, Ford V8 center caps, front and rear bumpers, stainless (in good condition), taillight lens, side mirrors and radio antenna are all ORIGINAL. The vinyl top is in good condition. It has the fog lights, front bumper guard, spot light and Continental kit. Interior is in excellant condition with the third roll seat. The steering wheel, gauges, radio and clock are all original. I also have the original Operator's Manual with date of February 28, 1948. The wood inside and out is in great condition. It was inspected this spring and there is no rust or bad wood on the car. It is rated in very good overall condition. I purchased this vehicle in California in 1986. It has been stored in a climate controlled building. The 1957 Chris Craft boat shown in the picture, is also for sale for $25,000.00. They have been shown as a pair, and have caught a lot of attention! These can be sold as a pair for $67,000.00, or separately for $52,000.00 for the Wagon, and $25,000.00 for the Chris Craft.
