This truck survived two marriages and two divorces, it was in pieces and neither one wanted it. I bought it in 1976 as a project and worked on it as I had time and money, I am the second owner to the best of my knowledge. I have license plates going back to the 50's and registration as well. I learned a tough lesson about buying a car to fix up. The fenders were pretty well beat up and I found an old guy that worked in a shop called "The Motor Car" Joe really knew his stuff. There is very, very, little bondo. Joe used a hammer and file most of the time and if he had to he would use a little lead. He was a very cool guy and a craftsman of the old school. The engine is not original, it has been rebuilt and is solid. The transmission is a four speed, same vintage but not original. The rear end is a possi and I have the old tranny and the "torqe tube" rear end that go with the truck. I was able to find original parts for just about everything, most of the parts came in the original box from the 1940's. I wish I would have kept the boxes! The truck has been a part of my life for a long time and I am a single dad and very active with my kids and Boy Scouts. We just do not have time to do it justice. Looking for a loving home. Offered for $ 9,800.00.
