This
1941 Ford pickup is a rare 122" express series fondly
referred to as a "tonner" It has a solid 85 hp flathead
V8. It has a newly rebuilt and upholstered seat, new cab
liner and a new acrylic gas tank lining to prevent rust,
sediment bowl and new paper gas line filter. In 2007/08
it received new front tires, wheel cylinders and brakes,
a master brake cylinder, rear axle seals, bearings, paint,
new chrome, side windows and windshield. It has the original
owners manual and registration. The truck was used to
deliver Socony Vacuum and later Mobiloil products from
1941 thru 1968. This model features a 4-speed floor shift
transmission, which is in great shape, no leaks. Single
exhaust with glass pack. Re-braised radiator. Some rust
on cab floor, running boards and left headlamp post. Diamond
plate panels cover rough spots on running boards.. Engine
compartment could use a detail. 90% original truck bed
wood. 82K original miles. New glass. New front tires,
needs new rear tires. New battery. Wheel alignment is
fine. Front defrost, all gauges are operational and intact.
