| 1934 Ford Cabriolet
"Replicar from Streetbeasts". This Street Rod
is a great Father and Son project. It is not finished and
still needs a fair amount of assembly. I have installed
a pre-1985 cid engine built by Jon Barrett as well as a
700R4 transmission. Both engine and transmission were painted
at the same time to avoid mismatched colors. Engine and
transmission have the chrome package. I have installed a
set of chrome Patriot headers, but no pipes or mufflers
--- these are needed. The rear end is set up with 355 gears
for some highway travel. The Rod is a rolling chassis with
a set of Cragar rims and Black wall tires. Some of the items
I have already purchased for the street rod are chrome brake
booster and master, stainless steel brake lines, chrome
PRC radiator and side tank, wiring harness, headlights and
tail lights, aluminum fuel tank, fuel line, and fuel pump
(mechanical), seats and covers, interior carpeting, steering
column, door locks and latches, window cranks and windows.
Some of the items you will need to purchase are a drive
shaft, gauges, gas pedal and linkage, emergency brake lever,
and mufflers, and a few miscellaneous items. This is a great
project if you are mechanically inclined and even if you're
not. The manual is a great help as well as Streetbeasts
tech line. |
